Eva (A Lil Sumptin Sumptin) has been involved in art since childhood, covertly doodling faces in her older siblings’ notebooks from as early as age 4. Having had formal training as a fashion designer, illustrator and calligrapher, it wasn’t until she stumbled upon artisan lampwork beads and handcrafted lampwork bracelets that she discovered her current passion.
Since 2004, Eva has been creating one-of-a-kind jewelry that is typically whimsical, sometimes humorous and often incorporate two things she loves and enjoys – flower gardens and dogs. In honor of her two golden retrievers, who were both adopted from local animal shelters, she has established an annual series of charity auctions called Paws for a Good Cause, offering her original, handmade jewelry to benefit various animal and human non-profit organizations.
