Dawn Brandt is the creative force behind Elements by Dawn. Dawn is particularly drawn to creating pattern and texture in her pieces. Through pattern and texture, her designs deliver movement, visual and tactile interest. By way of color and form, emotion and energy radiate out of each design. Simplistic shapes and clean lines evoke a sense of calm and serenity. Heavy textures with bold colors and daring lines suggest passion and excitement.
All of Dawn’s work is done in her home studio with professional hand tools using time-tested techniques. Interestingly, she does not use power tools in the creation of any of her jewelry. The subtle nuances and intimacy of hand tooling brings out a richness and detail that cannot be achieved through the use of power tools.
Dawn believes in supporting independent (indie) designers, crafters and entrepreneurs who symbolize originality and quality workmanship. Long before she opened Elements by Dawn, she has been a buyer of handmade goods, just like you.
