I’ve been making jewelry for going on a year now, but I have been making art for most of my life. I started working with metal rather recently, but both my parents are hardcore metalworkers (my mom’s a welder and my dad is a machinist). It was from them that I must have garnered this passion. I am currently in art school, with only two semester left to receive my MFA. It’s been quite a long ride, but I am glad to say that it’s almost over. I have certainly learned a great deal about how to create! I also am teaching a beginning level drawing class at my university. I’m a funny teacher who is not afraid to talk about celebrity gossip while I critique your work.
