Kristin Trautman (Lumina Jewelry) is relatively new to jewelry making. The artform has filled in the time and space that opened up when her daughter went off to college. In fact, it was Kristin’s daughter who introduced her to wire wrapping when she was learning the classical techniques of metalsmithing. Kristin was immediately intrigued, as she has always loved color and simple, elegant design. She most enjoys producing a well designed, meticulously crafted piece of jewelry with luxurious materials that is surprisingly affordable.
