Charity (Byzantium Lotus) was introduced to jewelry making as a fun and creative hobby through one of her best friends. It was a hobby that quickly became much more – within a week, she’d taken a class on wire work, and from there, she moved on to wire sculpture and chainmaille. Largely self taught, she is always looking for the next technique or skill she can learn to expand her repertoire and help bring the designs she sees in her head to actuality.
A creative personality, Charity also sews custom costumes and corsets – it was for one of these costumes that she created her first wire sculpture crown and mask set. Her other creative pursuits often provide inspiration for her jewelry.
